NTC disc thermistors for accurate temperature measurement
Ametherm has announced a range of NTC disc thermistors featuring a wide range of resistance values and precision tolerances to 1% for high-accuracy temperature measurement. The thermistors deliver high stability and maximum sensitivity for temperature measurement, compensation, and control in applications such as fan motor controls, fluid levels, and temperature sensors in a wide range of end products.
High accuracy NTC chip thermistors offer maximum sensitivity
Ametherm’s new NTC chip thermistors are for high-accuracy temperature measurement. Recently acquired from Measurement Specialties, the devices are available in a wide range of resistance values, with precision tolerances to 1 % and fast thermal response times.
Inrush current limiters & NTC thermistors achieve RoHS 2 compliance
A range of RoHS-2-certified (with Exemption 7a and 7(c)-1) inrush current limiters and NTC thermistors have been introduced to Ametherm's product line-up. Ametherm RoHS-compliant part numbers are indicated by the suffixes "SL," "SG," "MS," and "AS."
Ametherm appoints Director of Sales
Bringing more than 20 years of experience in the electronics industry, Ametherm has appointed Renee Fletcher as its director of sales. In this role, she will have responsibility for developing short- and long-term strategies to drive sales as the company rapidly expands to meet the needs of the power market.
NTC thermistor probe assemblies with ring lug terminals
Ametherm announce a new series of NTC thermistor probe assemblies which feature ring lug terminals for secure surface mounting. Intended for high-accuracy temperature sensing and measurement, the PANR series devices are available in a variety of housings and lead wire gauges. Providing fast response times and up to 4 KV of isolation voltage, the PANR thermistors are completely customizable to meet the specific needs of any application.
Ametherm acquires SURGE-GARD inrush current limiter product line
Ametherm today announced that it has acquired the SURGE-GARD inrush current limiter product line, formerly manufactured by RTI Electronics, from Measurement Specialties. The acquisition will also include certain NTC thermistor products.
Ametherm introduces new surface-mount thermistors
Ametherm has announced three new series of surface-mount thermistors for high-accuracy temperature compensation and measurement. To meet the specific requirements of any application, SM04, SM06, and SM08 series devices offer designers a choice of 125 mW, 200 mW, and 250 mW maximum power ratings, respectively, and dissipation constants of 1.10 mW/°C, 1.50 mW/°C, and 2.00 mW/°C.
Ametherm announce inrush current limiting NTC thermistors
Ametherm announce a new series of inrush current limiting NTC thermistors designed to withstand high steady-state currents from 6 A to 50 A and 250 J to 800 J of input energy in a wide range of applications. Recognized by UL for ensured safety, AS Series devices provide lower current density, faster reset times, and a wider temperature range without derating compared with traditional inrush current limiters.
