MIRTEC receives 2023 Global Technology Award

The award, presented at productronica in Munich on 14 November 2023, recognises MIRTEC's GENESYS-CC AI Based Conformal Coating AOI Series.

The GENESYS-CC AI Based Conformal Coating AOI Series marks a significant development in inspection technology, enhancing conformal coating inspection within the electronics manufacturing industry. The series features MIRTEC's exclusive 15MP CoaxPress Camera Technology and is further equipped with four 18MP Side-Angle Cameras. An optional Internal PCB Flipper Conveyor is available for double-sided PCB inspection.

This series utilises artificial intelligence (AI) to achieve precision and accuracy in inspecting conformal coatings on printed circuit boards (PCBs). Advanced AI algorithms are employed to analyse coating thickness, coverage, and uniformity, thus ensuring the optimal protection of sensitive electronic components. The high-resolution cameras and intelligent software enable quick identification of defects and anomalies, improving inspection speed and efficiency while reducing the likelihood of coating failures.
