Juki America celebrates double win at 2024 Mexico Technology Awards

The awards ceremony was held on 11^th September 2024 during the SMTA Guadalajara event in Mexico.

Component placement equipment – high volume: Juki LX-8 Advanced Flexible Mounter

The Juki LX-8 Advanced Flexible Mounter is designed for high-volume production lines. Its versatility allow users to choose between the P20 rotary planet head and the Takumi Head with adjustable head height for precise placement. The LX-8’s advanced features enable seamless handling of complex projects while maximising efficiency in quick production runs. With 160 feeder slots, the LX-8 simplifies production preparation and reduces setup times, offering unparalleled speed and cost-effectiveness. The machine’s compatibility with existing technology ensures smooth integration into any production environment, enhancing overall plant efficiency.

Material handling: ISM 3600 FA, FAMR System

In collaboration with Essegi Automation, Juki Automation Systems is also recognised for the ISM 3600 Front AMR (FAMR) System, a second-generation automated material handling system. This innovative system is an evolution of the design from Essegi, featuring the enhanced ISM 3600 storage tower with an automatic door and material conveyor. The FAMR system seamlessly integrates with existing Essegi/Juki storage towers, ensuring a smooth transition and maximising efficiency in material handling processes. Key features include strong ERP/MES interfacing capabilities to prioritise efficiency and minimise errors, utilising the same server, software, and interfaces as existing towers for a streamlined user experience.
