NanoKTN Invited to Promote Innovation in Nanoscale Technologies at Innovate 09

Innovate 09, is the annual flagship event of the government-backed Technology Strategy Board, which promotes and supports research into technology and innovation.

This year’s event will pay particular attention to the exploitation of a low carbon technology, energy generation and the digital economy. The event will also launch the Technology Strategy Board’s innovation strategy for nanoscale technologies and is aimed at raising awareness of the novel solutions being offered by the latest developments in nanoscale technologies, as well as discussing future strategies for the nanotechnology industry.

Christian Inglis, Technologist in Advanced Materials & Nanotechnology at the Technology Strategy Board and Dr Alec Reader, Director at the NanoKTN, will be hosting a joint seminar in the afternoon of the event to discuss the innovative and viable solutions that nanoscale technologies can offer, in terms of delivering new-medicines, healthcare solutions and improvements in energy efficiency.

Delegates will be given a clear view on how nanoscale technologies can be used to solve many everyday challenges and will provide those looking for business partners with a knowledge base and valuable networking opportunities.
