The Imec Technology Forum (www.itf2011.be) brings together executives from companies and institutes in Asia, Europe and the USA to share their vision of the future and discuss the challenges they are facing in regard to the enabling technologies to realize this vision.
The Forum provides a venue for international networking and learning. It is a meeting place for international company leaders from the nanoelectronics, healthcare, energy, wireless communications and embedded systems industries.



Science and technology affect each and everyone of us. Just look at how our welfare and well-being has changed at an amazing speed in the last 20 years. No doubt, the results of scientific advances and technological developments have been very beneficial. Unfortunately, our way of living has also resulted in huge challenges, e.g. global warming, the rising cost of our healthcare system, sustainable development of our cities and our mobility. But the leaders of high-tech companies worldwide are convinced that science and technology can provide the solutions and tools to tackle these challenges.
