Essemtec Presents Innovations at SMT Nuremberg 2012
In booth 7.203 at the upcoming SMT/Hybrid/Packaging 2012 exhibition in Nuremberg, Essemtec will present several innovations, including Scorpion, the highly flexible dispensing system, as well as two new printers for low-/mid-volume sizes.
EsseIn the printer field, Essemtec will exhibit Fino, its newly introduced semiautomatic printer with vision for small to midsize volumes. Intelligent control and the possibility of an alignment per two vision cameras combine high-quality technologies within a small footprint and a 450 x 500 mm printing area. All printing parameters are software-controlled and can be saved if required.
Another innovation among Essemtec’s printers is the semiautomatic fine-pitch printer Kea. The Kea combines two successful technological concepts in a single machine: the sliding print table for easy loading and the same software-controlled processing as automatic printers. Kea also features vision for automatic recognition of reference marks, pads or edges.
Other new and further developments concern the new 8 mm and 12 mm hyQ-Feeder for the pick-and-place machines Cobra and Paraquda. With an indexing time of only 60 ms, they increase the machine’s placement speed by more than 25 percent. Additionally the software release ePlace 4.0 will be demonstrated at during SMT. The software allows for improved, easier machine operation.
