The long established, Southampton based electronics hardware manufacturer and iPC development partner BVM, has opened a branch in Ireland. Located on the outskirts of Dublin, BVM Ireland represents the next phase in BVM’s long term growth strategy.
Bucking the general economic climate, BVM continues to experience strong growth across its divisions, growing sales by 25% in the last 12 months. Expansion into Ireland enables BVM to offer the full range of BVM products and services, including: iPC boards, panel pcs and touch screens that support their bespoke design & build service, across the whole island of Ireland. BVM Ireland will also showcase newly launched BVM Mobile’s ‘One-box’ solutions, aimed at the emerging Machine to Machine [M2M] and Mobile market.
“We are all aware that Ireland has been hit hard during the last few years, but the Irish people have bounced back from worse than this and will do so again. BVM wants to support this recovery and sees BVM Ireland as a key component of BVM’s future” said Robert Wainwright, General Manager and Director at BVM Group.
“Ireland is an active market in the technology space being one of the leading manufacturers of computer parts and computers in the EU. Estimates suggest up to 30% of computer production comes from Ireland. BVM believes, like Dell, Intel, IBM and Microsoft, that the best way to provide their services is to actively be on the island”
