Analog Devices launches suite of developer tools
Analog Devices (ADI) has introduced a suite of developer-focused tools designed to accelerate innovation at the Intelligent Edge, with enhanced speed and security.
At the heart of this launch is CodeFusion Studio, a comprehensive embedded software development environment based on Microsoft’s Visual Studio Code. This marks ADI’s first fully integrated suite of software and security solutions, combining a modern integrated development environment (IDE) with a command-line interface. CodeFusion Studio™ simplifies development across heterogeneous processors by incorporating open-source configuration and profiling tools, improving efficiency and streamlining the development process.
CodeFusion Studio is now available for download via ADI’s Developer Portal, a new resource hub offering extensive documentation, support, and community engagement.
The platform also supports ADI Assure, the company's universal hardware and software security architecture, which allows developers to easily integrate security into Intelligent Edge devices. Together, CodeFusion Studio, ADI Assure, and the Developer Portal provide customers with the resources they need to bring products to market faster, while enhancing security and reliability. By reducing deployment times, customers can unlock the full potential of the Intelligent Edge, leading to improved decision-making, increased customer satisfaction, and overall business growth.
“The complexity of embedded development at the Edge is growing, demanding expertise in hardware, software, and security simultaneously,” said Gregory Bryant, President of Global Business Units at ADI. “We believe we are uniquely positioned to provide deep expertise in integration and vertical technologies across diverse markets, making innovation faster, easier and more cost-effective. That's why we are investing heavily in developing and launching these solutions, with plans to continue, enabling our customers to confidently innovate for the Intelligent Edge."
