Next-generation viewphii 64-LSI for wireless ultrasound probes

Socionext Inc. introduced the viewphii 64-LSI, equipped with two dedicated LSIs, as the technology solution for wireless ultrasound probes for the next generation ultrasound diagnostic systems.

Socionext is also developing prototypes of new wireless ultrasound probes equipped with these LSIs.

KIC releases 24-channel profiling option

KIC introduces the new Dual Profiling option for Profiling Software 2G and SPS Smart Profilers, allowing up to 24 thermocouple locations in a single profile run for temperature profiling measurements.

The new option consists of two 12-channel SPS units, paired together and run as a single 24-channel profiler inside of a new thermal barrier. This added value is key for customers who require more sample locations on some of their products, but still want to use their profiler on smaller boards requiring less. Dual Profiling allows this flexibility.

Timestrip introduces new technology indicator

Timestrip has developed a completely new electronic indicator technology capable of highly versatile operation at low cost. The Timestrip neo is a platform for a series of single use electronic indicators suitable for pack level monitoring with both time and multiple temperature settings.

The Timestrip neo can be specified in a wide range of temperatures for both ascending and descending alerts, and for different time durations. If any of the set conditions are breached, a system of flashing LEDs provides clear information to the user. A standard configuration is available from stock.

EMI test receiver bandwidth extended to 1GHz

To help EMC engineers meet the increasing demand for higher measurement speeds, Rohde & Schwarz is introducing a wideband solution which is able to measure up to 970MHz in real time, while keeping a high dynamic range and measurement accuracy.

In order to speed up measurement time and to provide a more careful analysis of interfering signals, the R&S ESW EMI test receiver will offer the possibility to increase its FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) bandwidth to 350 MHz with the new R&S ESW-B350 option, and to 970 MHz with the new R&S ESW-B1000 option.

PHABRIX adds noVNC, 4x 2110 audio flow to Qx/QxL rasterisers

PHABRIX is pleased to announce the inclusion of browser-based remote access and improved audio functionality in the latest release (V4.7) for its Qx and QxL Series rasterisers.

The newest update – which will be showcased at the IBC Show 2022 in September (stand 10.C01) – also offers an optional EUHD License for the QxL Series, enabling the units to generate and receive ST 2110-20 flows (up to 4K60P 444:12-bit) simultaneously.
