Tektronix Introduces Highest Performing, Most Versatile 40GbE and 100GbE Test Solution
Tektronix, Inc announced new optical sampling oscilloscope modules for the Tektronix DSA8200 Digital Serial Analyzer Series that promise to lower the cost of high-performance optical transmitter development and standards compliance. The 80C10B and 80C10B with Option F1 (80C10B F1) provide the industry’s most complete testing solution for compliance verification of next generation transmitter standards from 40 Gb/s to 100 Gb/s and beyond. The company also announced the 80C25GBE module for 100 Gb/s Ethernet (100GbE) manufacturing and compliance verification.
DrivThe 80C10B module provides 80+ GHz optical bandwidth and signal fidelity for detailed characterization of 40 Gb/s and beyond. With the Option F1, users gain patented filtering technology for specific industry standards – making the 80C10B F1 a single module test solution for all major optical standards including; OC-768/STM256, VSR2000 (ITU-T G.693), 40GBase-LR (future serial), OTU3, 4X10G LAN PHY, 100GBase-LR4, 100GBase-ER4, 100GBase-LR4 + FEC, and 100GBase-ER4 + FEC. The 80C10B and 80C10B F1 modules represent the most cost-effective solution for design and compliance verification of new and emerging high speed optical data communications, and telecommunications standards from 40 Gb/s to 100Gb/s (4X25G) — all in a single module.
