Saelig introduces GW Instek MPO-2000 Series 5-in-1 programmable oscilloscopes

A notable feature of the MPO-2000 Series is the integration of Python scripting capabilities, allowing for the development of compact and cost-effective automated test setups without the need for an external PC. Python's ease of use and versatility across various domains, including scientific research, data analytics, and artificial intelligence, make it an ideal choice for this functionality.

The MPO-2000 Series is available in both Basic and Professional models, denoted by B and P suffixes, respectively. The Basic model offers a bandwidth of 100MHz, while the Professional model extends this to 200MHz, along with enhanced program memory and system resources for handling extensive waveform data. Both models support USB CDC device control for synchronised testing across multiple units. The series includes a Python GUI library, enabling customisation of the preloaded Python applications or the development of bespoke software. The Basic model comes with a set of demo programs, including USB device control and GUI applications. Standard bus decoding functions are available across the series, with the Professional model adding advanced decoding for FlexRay, USB-PD, and I2S protocols.

Designed with affordability in mind, the MPO-2000 Series addresses a wide range of applications, from educational purposes and small-scale automated production line testing to component tolerance verification and more. The MPO-2000P Series, in particular, empowers users to construct their own programmable testing systems at minimal expense, utilising the pre-installed Python applications.
