The Spectran V6 ECO, an evolution of Aaronia’s previous Spectran V6 series, establishes new benchmarks in real-time spectrum analysis. It operates within a frequency range from 9kHz to 6GHz, with an optional extension to 7.25GHz to facilitate Wi-Fi 6E measurements. It features a real-time bandwidth of 44MHz and an impressive sweep speed of 500GHz/s.

Integrated within the Spectran V6 ECO is a broadband oscilloscope in the Rx1 path, which can be used alongside the Power Meter input in the Rx1. The Power Meter covers a frequency range from 1MHz to 8GHz with an accuracy of +/- 1dB. Its rapid response time of 10 nanoseconds and dynamic range of 70dB make it highly effective for various applications. The Power Meter’s Analogue-to-Digital Converter (ADC) offers a real-time sampling rate of 2.5MSa/s with a 12-bit resolution, equivalent to a pulse resolution of 400 nanoseconds. This enables swift power monitoring, which is crucial for applications like protecting the preamplifier stage by automatically switching off during overload. The Power Meter is versatile, suitable for characterising RF signals, troubleshooting wireless communication systems, quality control in electronics manufacturing, and analysing radio transmissions.

The USB-connected Spectran V6 ECO 100XA-6 comes with the powerful RTSA-Suite PRO software, transforming it into a comprehensive benchtop spectrum analyser. This software is a potent and flexible tool with a user-friendly, customisable interface. It enables users to identify, capture, demodulate, and track any signal, with various options for graphical signal display. The features include multiple 2D/3D spectrum analyses, IQ streaming and decoding, multi-unit stitching, and multi-frequency monitoring. Also included are tools for recording and playback of IQ data, remote http or script capabilities. Further functionality can be added later via software licenses, significantly enhancing the device's capabilities or adapting it to changing requirements.
