Own the Best for Less with New Diagnostic Oscilloscope Starter Kits
Now it’s even easier to get started with PicoScope, the world’s most popular automotive oscilloscope. Pico Technology has just released two new starter kits to give you the perfect introduction to oscilloscope diagnostics.
“Customers asked us for a way to get into PicoScope diagnostics on a limited budget,” explained Managing Director Alan Tong, “so we took the high–quality scope and software from the advanced kit and added the accessories you need for the most common tests.”
No hidden costs. The full version of the PicoScope oscilloscope software is included. There is no subscription fee, and updates can be downloaded free of charge. Just £575/$978.75/€695.75 will get you started with the 2–channel kit, or you can prepare for advanced tests with the 4–channel version at only £975/$1608.75/€1179.75. You can easily expand the kit by ordering more accessories when you need them.
Comprehensive library of waveforms. PicoScope contains over 140 built–in tests encompassing almost all electrical components in a vehicle, all easily accessible from a single menu. Tests include airflow, MAP, cam, crank and oxygen sensors; throttle control valves, fuel pumps and other actuators; ignition coils; and CAN and LIN bus signals.
All tests include illustrated instructions and example waveforms from real vehicles. You can also create your own tests or share files with your colleagues.
Automated tests. Cylinder balance and relative compression tests are fully automated. Just connect a test lead to the battery, start the test and wait a few seconds for the results. The software then produces an easy–to–understand print–out for your records.
High–quality display. PicoScope stands out from the competition with its high–resolution display and low–noise hardware design. These result in more detailed, accurate waveforms. The software is carefully designed to use your computer screen efficiently, keeping controls and options out of the way until you need them.
Convenience and flexibility. PicoScope runs on any PC with Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 and a spare USB port. You can install the software on as many PCs as you like, so all you need to carry is the PicoScope diagnostics kit. Serial bus decoding: The PicoScope kits can display and decode CAN and LIN automotive data buses, as well as many other serial data formats used in electronics.
