New computer is big on performance and low on price

Driven by a fanless 533MHz VIA Core Fusion processor, the 6240 has six serial ports, dual LAN, mini PCI for wireless LAN and onboard 256MB DRAM. VGA is supported by integrated 2D/3D AGP2X graphics with an MPEG2 accelerator and display needs are catered for by VGA, SVGA, XGA, SXGA and a DSTN/TFT flat panel interface.

Using a standard compliant PC/104 and PC104 Plus bus, the 6240 also has a 16-bit GP10 port, two USB’s, VIA VT1612A AC97 audio, enhanced IDE and FDD. Measuring just 5.75 x 8 inches, the board has an operational temperature range of -20 degC to +60 degC.
