Webinar Explores MIMO Channel Sounding in RF Testing Using Channel Emulation
Keithley Instruments will broadcast a free webinar titled “Understanding MIMO Channel Sounding” on Thursday, September 24, 2009. This one-hour web-based seminar will introduce the topic of MIMO channel sounding as it relates to characterizing a real-world MIMO wireless channel, which can be used in RF testing of a device by applying channel emulation. For This webinar will introduce the basic concepts of the wireless communication channel, MIMO channel sounding, and channel emulation. Further, it will introduce a flexible and cost-effective RF test system that can be used for performing channel sounding, channel emulation, and functional testing of MIMO wireless devices. The webinar is recommended for MIMO wireless system and radio designers, including hardware and algorithm developers and wireless communications researchers.
Presenter Jake Sanderson is a lead RF applications engineer for Keithley Instruments. He supports MIMO applications in R&D and education, including the development of a MIMO channel sounding application. Before joining Keithley Instruments, Jake was a systems engineer with Agilent Technologies and Hewlett-Packard, developing manufacturing test solutions for the wireless semiconductor industry.
