To celebrate its 75th anniversary, Tektronix is partnering with distributor Farnell to offer free software trials, discounts on existing products and bespoke applications solutions for a limited time.

Customers can access a broad Tektronix portfolio, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, signal generators, power supplies, source meters, probes and much more.

Free software licences are available as well as a free trial of Tektronix’s brand-new analysis software, TekScope.

This software brings the power of the oscilloscope analysis environment to a personal computer.

Users have the flexibility to perform analysis tasks including serial decode, power analysis, as well as timing, eye, and jitter analysis outside of the lab.

Offline analysis of waveform files can be completed from any location at any time as no internet connection is required.

As part of the campaign, new online resources have been added to Farnell’s website to support a range of industry applications and solutions for education. Customers can now easily review the latest cutting-edge technology and best-selling in-stock products to kit out a laboratory or meet the requirements of their projects.

In addition to the variety of offers and resources available to customers through the ‘Own the Future’ promotion, Tektronix’s Brad Odhner also joined Farnell on its brand new podcast series, The Innovation Experts.

The episode covered emerging trends and cutting-edge test and measurement techniques as well as how engineers can use a broad range of test equipment to overcome present and future challenges to fast-track new product development.

James McGregor, Global Head of Test and Tools at Farnell, said: “Tektronix is a longstanding and trusted supplier partner of Farnell, and we congratulate them on reaching 75 years at the forefront of the electronics industry.”
