Aeroflex Shows New Auto-Test II TETRA Test Technology at TETRA World Congress
Aeroflex Incorporated, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aeroflex Holding Corp. (NYSE:ARX) and the leading supplier of test instruments for the TETRA market, presented its new Auto-Test II technology for testing TETRA mobile stations on the 3920 Digital Radio Test Set to the visitors of TETRA World Congress in Budapest. The new test option allows testing of TETRA terminals—independent of the network and encryption settings—by just pushing a button. Performing regular maintenance testing is an important issue for users of TETRA terminals.
“Modern TETRA terminals are the best equipment made for professional use, but they are used in very harsh environments. Regular maintenance using the Aeroflex 3920 with Auto-Test II ensures that faulty radios are detected before their failure has any serious impact on user safety,” Riedl said.
The new option for the 3920 Digital Radio Test Set enables a fast and reliable test. It ensures the lowest possible downtime of radios. With the intuitive user interface it is also possible to have an easy-to-use test set in the field with low test uncertainty.
