Simple antenna matching with the TTR500
If you’re integrating an off-the-shelf antenna with a wireless module, you’ll need to ensure that the impedance of the antenna matches the impedance of the wireless module.
Mismatch can result in reduced data packets, signal range and wasted battery life. In this video, Tektronix shows how to improve the design and verify the performance of the antenna matching circuit placed between the antenna and wireless transceiver module, using the TTR500 Network Vector Analyser.
