Discover sensor innovations in three live demos
Celebrating ‘40 Years of Innovation & Continuity’, iC-Haus is set to showcase its newest embedded systems products at embedded world 2024.
Among the highlights will be the iC-BL RS485 transceiver, designed for BiSS Line one-cable technology, alongside the iC-TW11 ultra-low-power magnetic position sensor, and the iC-HS ultra-short pulse laser driver.
The iC-BL enables devices such as microcontrollers, FPGAs, sensors, and actuators to communicate over distances up to 100 metres using only two conductors, incorporating the power supply through modulation. Its built-in error correction and low jitter make the BiSS Line fitting for motor feedback applications and any scenario demanding compact, robust real-time communication.
For applications that require precise position or speed detection while conserving power, the iC-TW11 Hall-based position sensor is the ideal solution. Offering low-power 10-bit angle detection, it's especially advantageous for battery-operated devices. Its typical uses span HMI interfaces featuring digital potentiometers to mobile robotics, highlighting its versatility.
The iC-HS laser driver series stands out for applications demanding precise Time-of-Flight (TOF) distance measurements, close-range lidar sensors, 3D scanners, or laser-induced fluorescence spectroscopy. These fast laser diode drivers facilitate ultrashort pulses ranging from 100ps to 5ns, with fine adjustability in 1ps increments. Their ease of scalability across various applications, combined with user-friendly interfaces and automatic on-chip compensation, makes them particularly attractive for the swift development of integrated laser solutions.
