Reed switch claims to be world's smallest
The manufacturer of theKSK-1A35/1 miniature reed switch,Standex-Meder Electronics, is claiming that the switch is theworld’s smallest high-voltage switch. At a maximum glass length of 10.5 and an overall lead length of 34.5mm, the KSK-1A35/1 can work with applications that may require the extra sensitivity of an ultra-miniature reed switch, while also providing an operating sensitivity range of 20 to 35 Ampere-turns (AT).

LTE protocol stack targets small cell relay nodes backhaul
Designed for easy integration of relay node (RN) backhaul functionality with an existing eNodeB (eNB) solution, NextG-Com has announced the ALPS 521 Release 11 compliant user equipment (UE) protocol stack. Pre-integrated with eNB RN interfaces to the scheduler and eNB controller entities, the LTE protocol stack provides interfaces to eNB network protocols via the NextG-Com IPC framework.
Couplers deliver low LED trigger currents
Providing reinforced insulation and low LED trigger currents of 3mA max, the TLP267J and TLP268J are the latest Triac-output photocouplers from TEE. The reduced trigger current allows the devices to control output at a lower input current, thus contributing to lower power consumption.
Battery-free RFID relay tag available in variety of sizes
Compatible with commercial EPC C1G2 readers, the TITAN is a battery free RFID bistable relay tag from Farsens. The relay tag can be activated and deactivated wirelessly via their unique ID, with the relay keeping its latest status even when the RFID reader is gone.
