SIS-TECH Introduces Coker Drum Safety System for Crude Oil Refineries
The SIS-TECH Coker Drum Safety System (CDSS) automatically inhibits the opening of valves under unsafe process conditions. In a crude oil refinery, this prevents the release of hydrocarbons and/or hydrogen sulfide to the atmosphere, or introduction of hydrocarbons to an open drum. The CDSS logic solver makes sure that an in-service drum is not opened to the atmosphere, or that an open drum is not placed in service.
Diamond Like Coating Technology Lowers Friction dramatically
DIARC-Technology has developed its next generation coating system which enables ta-C (tetrahedral amorphous carbon) structured diamond-like coatings to be produced in volume quantities for industrial applications. The company’s improved process is targeted at companies who need a hard-wearing protective coating that can deliver increased efficiency and reliability of components operating in challenging and critical wear environments in mechanic...
