Light coherence analysis produces precise 3D images
Imagine you need to have an almost exact copy of an object. Now imagine that you can just pull your smartphone out of your pocket, take a snapshot with its integrated 3-D imager, send it to your 3-D printer, and within minutes you have reproduced a replica, accurate to within micrometres of the original object. An MX key module, designed to fulfill the demanding reliability requirements of computer and data input keyboards, gaming consoles and industrial control HMI systems, has been introduced by Cherry. The CHERRYMX features a high reliability mechanical switch with gold crosspoint contacts and a fast and positive actuation. Standard options include integrated LED illumination, decoupling diode or wire bridge and a 4mm actuation travel.
Melexis to demonstrate its sensors for touch-less HMIs
Melexis will be participating in two key events at which it will have live demonstrations of its sensors for touch-less HMI technology in action. The first event is Automotive Cockpit HMI in Detroit, which takes place from 19th to 21st May. Next will be the Image Sensors Conference in Brussels, taking place between 23rd and 25th June.
