Vishay Intertechnology Launches New Ultraviolet LED in PLCC-2
The Optoelectronics group of Vishay Intertechnology, Inc today announced the VLMU3100, an ultraviolet (UV) LED in the surface-mount PLCC-2 package. Aimed at a wide range of applications, including adhesive curing, the VLMU3100 will serve as a solid-state replacement for mercury vapor lamps.

Vishay have today announced the introduction of a new series of snap-in power aluminium capacitors with a rated voltage of 500 V at 50 °C and a category voltage of 450 V at 105 °C. Targeted at solar applications, where the highest voltage is present under no load conditions, the 193 PUR-SI Solar devices also feature a long useful life and rated ripple current up to 2.52 A at + 105 °C and 100 Hz.
Vishay Intertechnology Launches New QPL Tantalum Nitride Thin Film Chip Resistors for Military and Aerospace Applications
Vishay Intertechnology today launched a new surface-mount chip resistor with a QPL MIL-PRF-55342 listing and an established reliability “M” failure rate of 100 ppm. Built using a moisture-resistant tantalum nitride resistive film technology, the new E/H (Ta2N) QPL resistors offer enhanced specifications for military and aerospace applications, including tolerances to 0.1 % and a TCR of 25 ppm/°C.
