Building cyber-physical products for the IoT market
EuroCPS has supported over 30 European companies to create cyber-physical products for emerging IoT markets, while increasing their turnover and growing their teams. Coordinated by CEA Leti and funded by the European Commission, this three-year, €9.2m project helped innovators (at small/medium enterprises, or SMEs, and large companies) overcome the barriers they face when entering new markets.
Industrial mainboard copes with harsh environments
Designed for the harsh, demanding industrial environments across a range of markets, the Fujitsu Mainboard D3633-S Mini-ITX is now available from Review Display Systems (RDS). This latest addition to Fujitsu’s Industrial Series is powered by the Intel Q370 Express Chipset which supports Intel’s 8th generation Core i7/i5/i3 processors or the Intel Pentium/Intel Celeron processors, for high-performance computing performance in demanding...

electronica 2018 to showcase the adoption of digital
The automotive industry is undergoing a dramatic transformation, by 2025, it is reckoned that a quarter of all cars worldwide will be electrically powered. On top of that, manufacturers and suppliers are currently responding to increasing demands for ‘next-generation’ technologies including autonomous and connected vehicles, as well as developing completely new data-generated business models.
Single channel gate driver ICs provide a 300 mil wide body package
Infineon Technologies is now offering the EiceDRIVER 1EDC Compact 300mm family of single channel gate driver ICs. With an insulation test voltage ofVISO= 2500 V(rms) for 60 sec these galvanically isolated drivers are recognised under UL 1577. Due to their high switching frequency of up to 1,000kHz they do not only drive IGBTs, but can also be integrated in demanding SiC MOSFET topologies.
Automotive leading the way in the adoption of digital technology
By 2025, it is estimated that a quarter of all cars worldwide will be electrically powered. Manufacturers are currently responding to increasing demands for next-gen technologies, including autonomous and connected vehicles, as well as developing completely new data-generated business models.
