Research to strengthen European power electronics industry
The three-year “eRamp” project, led by Infineon Technologies, has been launched to strengthen and expand Germany and Europe as centres of expertise for the manufacture of power electronics. Focused on energy efficiency, 26 research partners from six countries are participating in the €55m project.

A single board embedded PC with around four times the processing power of the Raspberry Pi is now exclusively available from its UK distributor Rapid Electronics. The UDOO features a quad core ARM i.MX6 Freescale CPU processor which runs at 1GHz and packs 1GB of DDR3 RAM.

Ben has been challenged by many viewers to make the OUYA into a Heck-style portable gaming device. For the first part of the project, Ben mods an LCD and the OUYA to be as thin as possible. After removing any unneeded components, he works to wire up the HDMI and get the screen and OUYA working as one.
