High speed data conversion platform to accompany FPGAs
Teledyne e2v has announced its development of a high speed data conversion platform to accompany latest Xilinx FPGAs.
Board-level hardware enables preemptive experimentation
Teledyne e2v is set to further expand its portfolio of Digital-to-Analogue Converter (DAC) ICs and through availability of an accompanying evaluation platform, engineers will be able to begin applying it to their design projects soon. The company is about to start initial sampling of the EV12DD700 dual-channel DACs, which are capable of operating up into Ka-band frequencies.
Analogue interface module has multicard synchronisation
The LXD30K0 low latency, wide bandwidth analogue interface FMC (FPGA Mezzanine Card) module has been released by Logic-x, a supplier of off-the-shelf Adaptable Compute Acceleration Platforms (ACAP) and sensor processing modules
Signal quality analyser supports USB4 receiver test
Anritsu Corporation has announced the start of sales of its USB4 receiver test solution using the company's Signal Quality Analyser-R MP1900A in combination with automation software from Granite River Labs or Teledyne LeCroy to control a connected oscilloscope and implement tests meeting the latest USB4 standards.
Vector network analyser swells budget instrument range
Broadening development of its Teledyne Test Tools (T3)-branded portfolio of test equipment, Teledyne LeCroy has unveiled the T3VNA1500 Vector Network Analyser. The product enhances the affordable test equipment portfolio that engineers, developers and schools can use to assemble a well-equipped test bench efficiently, reliably and within budget.
Environmental monitoring from international space station
Optical Surfaces has reported how a motorised UV-Vis-NIR collimator and interferometric alignment system it supplied to the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR) in Berlin, Germany has been used to set-up the ground breaking DLR Earth Sensing Imaging Spectrometer (DESIS).
Oscilloscope lowers price of 12-bit resolution
The WaveSurfer 4000HD High Definition Oscilloscope (HDO) from Teledyne LeCroy is said to be the first in its class to feature 12-bit vertical resolution at all times, showing clean, crisp waveforms on a bright, 12.1in. touch screen display. WaveSurfer 4000HD is available in bandwidths from 200MHz to 1GHz, with sample rates of up to 5 GS/s and up to 12.5 Mpts of acquisition memory on each channel (25 Mpts interleaved).
HDMI & DisplayPort instruments offer flexible test options
Teledyne LeCroy’s newly released quantumdata M41h (HDMI) and M41d (DisplayPort) test instruments, offer flexible testing options for video designers and integrators. Design and test engineers that need to test and validate their products for interoperability and reliability of the HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort 1.4 video interface implementations can now perform the tests they need and add more functionality as additional requirements arise.
Wideband digitiser data transfer rates meet 5G applications
A dual-channel 12-bit wideband digitiser with 6.5GHz analogue input bandwidth and 5 giga-sample per second (GSPS) sampling rate per channel has been introduced by Teledyne SP Devices. The wide instantaneous bandwidth and dynamic performance combined with customisable real-time digital signal processing (DSP) and high data transfer rates makes it an ideal platform for satellite communication systems, radar, 5G, and more.
Motor drive analysers leverage oscilloscope platform
The MDA 8000HD Motor Drive Analysers launched today (October 1) by Teledyne LeCroy leverage the WaveRunner 8000HD High Definition Oscilloscope (HDO) platform of eight analogue channels, 12-bit vertical resolution at all times, up to 5 Gigapoints of acquisition memory (1.25 Gigapoints on all eight channels), 10 GS/s sample rate, and bandwidths up to 2GHz.
