Preview of switching modules at SMT Hybrid Packaging
Pickering Interfaces will be showcasing its latest switching modules and chassis at SMT Hybrid Packaging 2015 on 5th to 7th May, 2015in booth 6-110. It's latest products include additions to Pickering’s PXI 16A switching, PXI isolated power supply and PCI fault insertion solutions.
Nuremberg launch pad for PXI/PCI solutions
The SMT Hybrid Packaging 2015 in Nuremberg (May 5-7) will provide a platform for Pickering Interfaces PXI 16A switching, PXI isolated power supply, and PCI fault insertion solutions. New launches in the PCI range include a PCI 2A Fault Insertion Switch – for switching fault conditions for burn-in/endurance testing of Electronic Control Units (ECUs).
Media server features media processing management software
The first dedicated media server on the market with built-in media processing management software has been introduced by ADLINK Technology. The MCS-2040 offers six times the performance of pure software transcoding solutions and reserves more than 80% of CPU capacity for customer applications.
8-channel SAR ADC features an SNR performance of 100dB
An 8-channel, 18-bit, 1Ms/s SAR (Successive Approximation Register) ADC with outstanding 100dB SNR performance has been released by Linear Technology. To configure the MUX and input range, the LTC2373-18 is equipped with a programmable sequencer that can store up to 16 control words. This allows users to mix and match fully differential and pseudo-differential input ranges with a variety of MUX channel configurations.
16Gb optical transceivers aim for simple, cheap data transfer
Smartoptics has announced that its 16Gb optical transceivers have been approved by Brocade in all of their latest Fibre Channel switches. This allows low cost, high capacity connectivity options for SAN extensions in business continuity and disaster recovery applications.
Getting the best out of DAS
Technology and techniques developed for dealing with network capacity variations need to work harmoniously to deliver real benefits. By John Spindler, Director of Product Management, TE Connectivity.
LXI & PXI switching solutions to be exhibited
At this year's electronica, from 11th to 14th November 2014 in Munich, Pickering Interfaces will be exhibiting LXI and PXI switching solutions. These solutions include thePXI Signal Insertion and Monitor Matrix, the updated PXI Large Matrix BRIC, the updated PXI Microwave Multiplexer and theLXI High-Density Matrix.
Analog Devices Introduces Industry’s First Analog Fault Detection and Protection Switch Family for Analog Input/Output Modules in Harsh Environments
Analog Devices, Inc. today introduced a family of fault detection and protection, low/ultra-flat Ron switches: the ADG5412F, ADG5413F, ADG5412BF and ADG5413BF. By identifying when a channel is in a fault, this innovative switch technology removes the need for additional hardware and software error-detection schemes, leading to an improvement in system uptime.
DAC provides 74dBc SFDR at 200MHz output
Claiming to offer an improvement over alternative 14-bit DACs, the LTC2000 DAC offers exceptional spectral purity of 74dBc SFDR at 200MHz output. The 16-bit 2.5Gsps device, launched by Linear Technology, also offers better than 68dBc SFDR for output frequencies from DC to 1GHz. Due to the converter's 2.1GHz -3dB bandwidth, broadband or high frequency RF synthesis is possible in applications such as high-end instrumentation, broadband communication...
