RTOS now supports Renesas’ R-Car E2 SoCs
Green Hills Software has announced that its INTEGRITY RTOS now supports Renesas Electronics’ R-Car E2 SoC devices. By targeting the Integrated Cockpit with the addition of the R-Car E2, Green Hills Software continues its commitment to support Renesas’ entire R-Car series of processors.
Grid infrastructure solutions on show at DistribuTECH 2015
Texas Instruments has announced that it will, in Booth 713 at DistribuTECH 2015, demonstrate a full spectrum of end-to-end solutions for grid infrastructure. TI provides complete system designs from grid monitoring to protection to communications, including hardware, software and reference designs to help smart grid developers speed time-to-market.
DIN rail mounted PCB housings feature a modular design
To allow end users to create a customised solution which fits the dimensions and requirements of their application, Hylec-APL has launched a range of DIN rail mounted PCB housings which feature a modular design. The components are suitable for use in applications requiring timers, counters, relays or any other control or monitoring equipment where quick installation and easy access may be required.
Switches feature close-differential characteristics
Close-differential switches, suitable for applications with limited space, have been introduced by Littelfuse. The MACD-14 and MASM-14, which extend the company’s reed switch product line, are capable of switching 200VDC at up to 10W. Enabling accurate performance in all operating conditions, the devices feature a sensitivity range of 10-30AT.
LXI switching matrix supports 1024 relay closure counts
Designed to support DMMs or source meters which require the closure of up to 1024 crosspoint relays, the 60-553 LXI switching matrix has been introduced by Pickering Interfaces. Featuring a dual bus design, the 1024x4, 1-pole, 1U device can be divided into two smaller independent matrices, such as 512x4.
Weidmüller to exhibit at Southern Manufacturing
Weidmüller will display its latest solutions for device and electrical connectivity, electronics and automation at the Southern Manufacturing exhibition in February.
Test platform shapes up to aerospace industry demands
Marvin Test Solutions has delivered a TS-323 GENASYS test platform to Lockheed Martin Space Systems to meet the test demands required by increasingly complex aerospace systems. GENASYS is a PXI-based system designed to meet the demands of mission-critical applications that require performance functional testing.
Latching relays suit energy smart applications
Two latching relays are now available from CIT Relay & Switch. The L115F1 is available in a single coil and features a switching capacity of up to 50A, while the L114 is available in both single and double coil and features a capacity of up to 16A.
Infrared pyrometer measures temperatures down to 350 degrees C
The new PyroMini 0.9 infrared pyrometer makes it possible to measure the temperature of reflective metals and semiconductors, as low as 350°C, at low cost and without contact. The pyrometer can view into a vacuum chamber through a quartz or glass window, and measure the temperature of the surface of the silicon wafer.
Pickering demos reed relays at Designcon USA 2015
Using only the highest quality materials, Pickering Electronics manufactures reed relays for instrumentation and ATE, high voltage switching, low thermal EMF, direct drive from CMOS, RF switching and other specialist applications. The company will be demonstrating its portfolio in booth #529 at Designcon USA 2015 Santa Clara Convention Center, 28th to 29th January.
