Power supply maker TDK-Lambda UK, a subsidiary of the TDK Corporation in Japan, celebrates 50 years of design and manufacture this November. The presentation of a commemorative plaque was made by Yoshiaki Hirota, General Manager (SPS Division) TDK-Lambda Corporation of Japan, to UK Directors during his recent visit to the Ilfracombe design and manufacturing facility.

The $40m, four-sided, high-definition Diamond Vision video board, which is built by Mitsubishi Electric, uses 22,000 TDK-Lambda ZWS power supplies to light the 25 million Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) needed to create the image on the screen.

TDK-Lambda EMEA has extended its range of EFE digitally controlled medical power supplies with the introduction of the 400W, EFE400M Medical range.
