Brits think electric cars are the future of the motor industry
Transport currently accounts for almost a third (30%) of the world’s total energy use and around a quarter of the global energy-related carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. With climate change high on the news agenda and more consumers than ever making a conscious effort to reduce their carbon footprint, there is no bigger industry that is impacted by this than the travel and motor sector.
Essential skills required for a career in engineering
Despite the current uncertainty surrounding the economic situation in the UK, all is not as bleak as it may initially seem — particularly in the engineering sector.Overall predictions suggested that in 2015, more than 25% of the UK’s total GDP was generated from the engineering sector, amounting to £420.5bn. Meanwhile, a study conducted by the Research for Economics and Business Research (CEBR) discovered that each person employ...
Expanding the potential of innovative LED technology
Following ISELED's official debut at electronica 2016, this innovative technology based on a true ‘digital LED’ has experienced enormous acceptance in the industry. This is also reflected in the development of the ISELED Alliance, which has set itself the goal of offering a comprehensive system solution, an ecosystem, around ISELED.
