Adjustable long-range reader can read at distances of 15ft
A new long-range F192 reader has been introduced by Pepperl+Fuchs, putting out the maximum power allowed by the FCC, 4W EIRP, making it suitable for reading tags at distances of more than 15ft.The output power is adjustable to as low as 10mW, so the F192 works equally well for short-read ranges. Power adjustability is especially important when operators want to read a specific RFID tag, not the tags located to the left, right, or behind it.
