Phil Gee is Nu Horizons' VP Sales Europe
Nu Horizons Electronics has appointed Phil Gee as VP Sales Europe, effective October 1st. Gee, who was previously European Director Global EMS at Future Electronics, takes responsibility for the distributor’s sales operations in the UK, Germany and Austria. Nu Horizons entered the European market in August 2006 with the acquisition of Coventry based DT Electronics and opened sales offices in Munich and Vienna earlier this year.

Renesas extends its M16C platform
Renesas Technology Europe has announced 12 different M16C/64 group models and 20 different M16C/65 group models for car audio, home audio, and similar consumer products as well as industrial applications, as additions to the M16C Platform microcontroller1 lineup. Sample shipments will begin in July 2007 for the M16C/64 group and at the end of 2007 for the M16C/65 group.
