Optocoupler guarantees CTR consistency from 0.2 to 80mA
Toshiba has expanded its optocoupler range with the addition of the TLP383, designedfor use in PLCs, AC adapters and I/O interface boards. The photocoupler guarantees the same CTR (Current Transfer Ratio) across an input current range from 0.2 to 8mA [50-600% at IF=0.2/8mA, VCE=5V] and across the temperature range of +25 to 100°C.
Smarter devices demand smarter NAND
Demand for NAND-based digital memory is booming, driven by increased use of devices that span the consumer and mobile markets, automotive and industrial sectors and the emerging Internet of Things (IoT). By Eugen Pfumfel, Principal Engineer, Memory Marketing, Toshiba Electronics Europe
SD memory cards features write speeds up to 240MB/s
Toshiba Electronics Europe has refreshed its EXCERIA PROrange of SD memory cards designed for photographers that demand the ultimate in speed and performance from their equipment. Now available in Europe in capacities ranging from 16 to 128GB, the UHS-II compliant cards deliver some of the highest read/write speeds of any SD cards on the market.
High voltage intelligent power device enables sine-wave control
Toshiba Electronics Europe has launched a high voltage intelligent power device that enables the sine-wave control of brushless DC electric motors. The TPD4204F will find use in a range of low power industrial fans and pumps as well as white goods including washing machine, dishwashers and fan units.
MOSFETs reduce losses & board space
Toshiba Electronics Europe has expanded its family of high-efficiency, low-voltage MOSFETs by adding 30 and 60V devices to its existing 40V offering. These devices will be available in ultra-compact, thermally efficient DSOP Advance package options that significantly improve heat dissipation through dual-sided cooling.
Key value drive technology targets Big Data
Toshiba Electronics Europe announces two key value-based technologies for scale-out object storage, Big Data analytics, virtualisation and active archival. With these technologies, Toshiba customers can reap the benefits of large capacity and high performance scale-out object storage while maximising uptime and reducing the overall MTTR.
PCIM Asia 2015 comes to a successful end
After three exhibition days, full with the latest trends of power electronics, PCIM Asia 2015 ended with a positive result. Running concurrently with SPS Automation Shanghai, 101 exhibitors presented their latest products and services of power electronics in the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Center.
High voltage photorelays in the industry’s smallest package
Introducing six products housed in a VSON4 package, the industry’s smallest for photocouplers, Toshiba has expanded its lineup of photorelays. The latest additions to the TLP34xx series offer low off-state capacitance, low on-state resistance and high voltage support.
-40V P-channel MOSFET suits automotive applications
Suitable for use in automotive applications such as reverse battery protection and motor control, a -40V P-channel power MOSFET has been unveiled by Toshiba Electronics Europe. The TJ200F04M3L conforms to the AEC-Q101 automotive standard qualification requirements and offers an improved design which is capable of reducing conduction losses.
DTMOS IV-H MOSFETs now offered in four pin TO-247 package
Targeting PFC for high power smart power stages, Toshiba Electronics Europe has introduced a four pin TO-247 MOSFET package. In conventional three pin TO-247 packages, parasitic induction at the source pin causes increased losses with increasing switching frequency. The TO-247 4L package is equipped with high speed DTMOS-H chips with low QGD to optimise switching behaviour.
