Digital oscilloscopes get mixed-signal extensions
The mixed signal versions of Rigol Technologies DS2000A and DS1000Z oscilloscopes are now available. The instruments now enable easier configuration thanks to the addition of a multilingual user interface. The digital oscilloscopes detect signal and device characteristics with comprehensive trigger functions, and advanced hardware based real time waveform records, replay, search and analysis functions.
Simulation-measurement challenge solved by test bench
Semiconductor companies developing DDR controller IP, those developing DRAM chips and DIMMs, and OEMs integrating the controller and DIMM into a system using PCB technology can now use Agilent Technologies’ Advanced Systems DDR4 Compliance Test Bench for a complete workflow from simulation of a candidate to measurement of the finished prototype.
16-bit DAC drives 10mA & 1000pF loads
A 16-channel, 16-bit voltage output DAC has been launched by Linear Technology. The DAC includes SoftSpan outputs, each of which can be independently configured for one of five selectable unipolar and bipolar output ranges up to ±10V. Each rail-to-rail DAC output is capable of sourcing or sinking 10mA with guaranteed load regulation, and is stable driving capacitive loads as large as 1000pF.
Industry's highest performing 2GSPS data converter
Able to discern smaller signals in the presence of noise, clutter, blockers and interferers, the 12-bit, 2GSPS, AD9625 ADC has been introduced by Analog Devices. The manufacturer has claimed that it offers the best noise and dynamic range performance in its class for better receiver sensitivity.
Agilent to showcase software and RF student program at ASEE
At the 121st Annual American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) Conference and Exposition, Agilent will demonstrate BenchVue software and the Agilent RF & Microwave Industry-Ready Student Certification Program. The Conference is taking place between June 15th and June 18th 2014 at the Indiana Convention Center (Booth 1107) in Indianapolis.
