Soldering machine presented at IPC increases offering
Updating its portfolio, Altus Group has added the latest innovation from Rehm to its range, and it was all presented at the recent IPC Apex Expo in the USA. Rehm unveiled their latest convection soldering machine with vacuum, the VisionXP+ Vac, to visitors of the Expo. The new vacuum unit allows void-free convection soldering in a single process. The system has had a number of new updates including environmental and energy efficiency developments...
Residue management system extends maintenance cycles
Soldering fumes, aerosols and solid particles (residues) have to be removed from the process cycle and are also produced when soldering electronic assemblies.Rehm Thermal Systems has recognised effective residue management for reflow convection soldering with the VisionXP+.
'Turn toward the future' at IPC APEX EXPO
Visitors to San Diego, California from 14thto 16thFebruary 2017 are invited to 'turn toward the future' at theIPC APEX EXPO. Rehm Thermal Systems will be at this major electronics trade show and will present its latest plant technology for reliable reflow convection and condensation soldering at booth 1901.
Curtain nozzle enhances coating processes
The Rehm Thermal Systems VarioFlex is now on sale at Altus Group. It has been developed for highly selective conformal coating processes. With the increase in miniature components, the requirement for smaller tolerances between areas to be lacquered becomes more difficult. To address this problem Rehm have added the VarioFlex curtain nozzle to their Protecto system.
Bringing the curtain down on inaccuracy
Introducing customers to the new Rehm Thermal Systems VarioFlex, Altus Group has developed the product for highly selective conformal coating processes. With the increase in miniature components, the requirement for smaller tolerances between areas to be lacquered becomes more difficult. To address this problem Rehm have added the VarioFlex curtain nozzle to their Protecto system.
Rehm expands presence in Mexico
Rehm Thermal Systems has been present in sales and service partners in North America and Latin America for several years. Large automotive suppliers and global electronics manufacturers are increasingly located in Mexico. Rehm has taken account of this development and established its own branch office in Guadalajara in 2014 for distribution, spare parts supply and service.
Electronics manufacturing trends showcased at Technology Day
'Manufacturing in the age of digital transformation' was the theme of this year’s Technology Day on 29thSeptember 2016 at Rehm Thermal Systems. With almost 150 guests, including regional and international clients, distributors and partner firms, the event was a resounding success.
Exome sequence data aids the diagnosis of rare diseases
Based on the largest resource of its kind, members of the Exome Aggregation Consortium (ExAC) led by scientists at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard report scientific findings from data on the exome sequences (protein-coding portions of the genome) from 60,706 people from diverse ethnic backgrounds.
Manufacturing solutions at SMT/Hybrid/Packaging
Rehm Thermal Systems looks forward to meeting you at this year’s SMT/Hybrid/Packaging in Nuremberg from April 26th to 28th, Europe's leading trade fair for system integration in microelectronics. The electronics industry continuously meets new challenges in the processing of sensitive electronic components – from processing the smallest components, the highest standards in void-free solder joints and increased quality through resistan...
Systems harden protective coatings
To ensure sensitive electronic components function reliably even in adverse conditions, protective coatings are applied to circuit boards during the manufacturing process. In addition to its RDS Series, Rehm Thermal Systems is now offering two systems for the optimal hardening of such protective coatings – the vertical dryer RVDS and a compact UV hardening system.
