Test solution meets MIPI M-PHY v3.1 specification
Tektronix announced the first physical layer transmitter characterisation and debug solution for the MIPI M-PHY v3.1 specification recently approved by the MIPI Alliance. The new solution includes support for MIPI M-PHY High Speed Gears 1, 2 and 3, PWM Mode (G0-G7), and SYS Mode and can be used with Tektronix MSO/DPO 70000DX oscilloscopes and P7600 series probes.
Triggering & decoding on a FlexRay serial bus
A quick demo on triggering and decoding on a FlexRay serial bus using the DSOX3FLEX option for the Keysight 3000 X-Series oscilloscopes.
Automotive debug options added to oscilloscopes
Keysight Technologies has introduced CAN FD (controller area network with flexible data rate) and SENT (single edge nibble transmission) decoding and triggering options for its InfiniiVision 4000 X-Series oscilloscopes. The new capabilities improve engineers’ efficiency in debugging CAN FD and SENT serial buses, which are used primarily in automotive applications.

Infiniium 9000 series oscilloscopes
This video from Keysight Technologies shows how the Infiniium 9000 series oscilloscopes are engineered for the broadest measurement capability.
Probes match up to high voltage measurements
Keysight Technologies has introduced 200-, 300- and 500-MHz, high-voltage probing solutions with a wider input range, higher common-mode rejection ratio and optimised accessories. The probes are ideal for testing switching power supplies or power devices and for measuring motor drives and vehicle buses.
Passive oscilloscope probes cover wide temperature range
The Model 702902 and 702906 from Yokogawa are 10:1 passive oscilloscope probes that operate over a wide temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. As a result, they are ideally suited to use in accelerated testing and validation methods where temperature cycling is part of the test procedure.
CAN FD triggering and analysis
See how Keysight’s new CAN FD triggering and decode capabilities in the InfiniiVision 4000 X-Series oscilloscopes enable the industry’s fastest decode. CAN FD is the next-gen, higher-performance serial bus protocol for automotive control and diagnostic applications and allows you to reduce bus loads and increase throughput for today’s demanding automotive applications.
Oscilloscope soars to 100GHz bandwidth
Teledyne LeCroy is continuing to set the oscilloscope bandwidth pace. Today (Nov 11) at the electronica exhibition in Munich, the company introduced a 100GHz instrument – the LabMaster 10-100Zi. The company says that it has already identified customers for the high-end oscilloscope and expects more to follow as research companies in particular become aware of its capabilities.
Oscilloscope option enhances signal analysis
The R&S RTM-K15 history and segmented memory option expands the maximum memory depth of the R&S RTM bench oscilloscope to 460 Msample per channel. The segmented memory has a variable depth ranging from 10 ksample to 20 Msample, enabling acquisition of up to 45,000 individual waveform segments.
