Debuggers replace oscilloscopes & logic analysers
As debuggers can now provide extensive and often very effective graphics processing of huge amounts of data, could they replace oscilloscopes and logic analysers? By Jens Braunes, Software Architect, PLS Development Tools.
Keysight 3000T X-series oscilloscopes
The 3000T X-series oscilloscopes combine a capacitive touch screen, a user interface designed for touch and the exclusive Zone touch trigger, with an industry-leading uncompromised update rate of 1 million wfm/s to help you see all of your signal detail.
Making power quality measurements: AC input analysis
This short video will demonstrate making a power quality measurement on your power supply, using Keysight InfiniiVision X-Series oscilloscopes.
Solve measurement challenges with advanced integrated capabilities
Keysight's InfiniiVision 3000T X-series oscilloscopes are optimised with advanced integrated capabilities such as serial decode applications, 6-in-1 instrument integration, time/frequency domain correlation, and more, to help you solve your toughest measurement challenges.
Mainstream scopes boast capacitive touch screens
Capacitive touch screens and zone triggering have arrived in the mainstream oscilloscope market. Keysight Technologies is offering its InfiniiVision 3000T X-Series digital storage and mixed signal oscilloscopes with intuitive graphical triggering capability. The scopes help engineers overcome usability and triggering challenges and improve their problem-solving capability and productivity.
Extended design portfolio speeds creation & analysis
Aiming to enable product creation efficiency by increasing signoff-level PCB extraction accuracy, Cadence Design Systems has announced an expansion of itsSigritytechnology portfolio. The Sigrity Parallel Computing 4-pack and the Sigrity System Explorer have been added to the range, as well asan updated power-aware system Signal Integrity (SI) feature and flexible purchasing options for PCB/IC Package design & analysis.
Oscilloscope portfolio features at embedded world 2015
From its Munich base Rohde & Schwarz will motor up the autobahn to the embedded world 2015 exhibition in Nuremberg bringing its complete and enhanced oscilloscope portfolio. The high definition mode increases the vertical resolution of the R&S RTO and R&S RTE digital oscilloscopes to up to 16 bits, a 256 fold improvement over the 8 bit resolution available in standard mode.
200MHz oscilloscopes developed for educational market
Rohde & Schwarz has designed 200MHz models of the R&S RTM oscilloscope, especially for universities and educational institutions. The education mode was developed for test and measurement practica and makes it possible to disable all analysis tools (e.g. Autoset and QuickMeas) and automatic measurements.
Portable PC scopes feature 200MHz bandwidth
The newly launched PicoScope 3000D Series oscilloscopes offer up to 200 MHz bandwidth, 2 or 4 analogue channels plus 16 digital channels on the mixed-signal (MSO) models, and deep memories from 64 to 512 MS. Capable of debugging the latest digital and mixed signal designs, the scopes offer a maximum real-time sampling rate of 1GS/s and feature a USB3.0 interface and a built-in arbitrary waveform generator (AWG).
