Featuring a footprint of only 2.9x 2.3mm and an insertion height of 1mm, the B30000P80 series of ultra-compact EPCOS µDC/DC converters has been released by TDK. A 6MHz power switch, which is claimed to save up to 35% of space, is embedded in the miniature PCB.The B30000P80 series is comprised of eight µDC/DC converters, which are designed for an input voltage range of 2.2 and 5.5VDC and offer output voltages from 1.10-2.80VDC.

Operating from a universal input of 85-264VAC (47-63Hz) with active power factor correction to ensure EN61000-3-2 compliance, the compact TDK-Lambda DRF series ofenergy efficient, DIN rail, convection-cooled power supplies meets demand for applications that require advanced control features, including those found in industrial equipment, building automation and process control.

The LBC+ series of RF chokes, suitable for currents of up to 4450mA at saturation currents of up to 7700mA, has been released by TDK. According to the company, this is an increase of up to 80% compared to previous versions. The chokes, which provide inductance values from 1.0 to 470µH, are manufactured in both axial and radial types.

Optimising power quality, theEPCOS PQSine series of active harmonic filters has been introduced byTDK. The filters are designed for3-phase networks, with and without neutral conductors, at voltages from 200 to 480VAC and 50/60Hz. Capable of analysing and neutralisingharmonics up to the 50th order, the filters areavailable in steps of 60A up to a maximum rated current of 600A.
