Modular, Tailor-made Cooling Systems can Guarantee Zero Leakage on Robotic Welding Systems Due to Welding Tip Loss
By using configurable, modular control systems with operator-specific software, users of spot welding robot systems can acquire intelligent tailor-made cooling systems that guarantee zero leakage in their production environment as a result of loss or replacement of electrode tips. Such modular systems, consisting of compact devices with integrated sensor equipment, valves and controllers, can be individually configured to provide optimised coolin...
AVT boosts machinery certification capability with new appointment
Engineering consultancy, AVT Technology, (AVT), has strengthened its machinery certification capability with the appointment of a new Compliance Engineer.
New ARCMate weld robot gets fully integrated ‘base to torch’ cable management
Faster programming and longer cable life are just two benefits provided by FANUC Robotics’ new ARCMate 100iC Robot. Internal cable management, from the robot’s ‘base to the weld torch’, allows the dress package (wire, gas and power supplies) to accurately and repeatably follow the robots motion avoiding snagged and broken cables.
Robots take the load for fish processor
A Grimsby fish processor has successfully implemented robots into its facility to remove the heavy and repetitive load and unloading tasks. Producing dried fish, JHS Fish Products Limited has two FANUC Robotics robots handling palletised fish at both the raw and the dry stages of the process.
Robots make early impact on MASS agreement at BAE Systems
A recently commissioned manufacturing facility for the machining of 105mm artillery shells has made an early impact on the aims of the MASS contractual partnership between BAE Systems and the UK MoD. MASS (Munitions Acquisition – the Supply Solution) –aims to deliver increased supplies of ammunition to front line troops by modernising and ensuring sustainability of the UK munitions industry.
Smooth ‘go anywhere’ robot solution for machine and system builders
A robot that can be mounted in a variety of orientations without modification and with an unobtrusive smooth exterior is the latest offering from FANUC Robotics. The M-10iA/10S is a 6 axes, 10 Kg payload robot with a hollow arm to completely remove tooling cabling from the work area.
