DELTA Microelectronics announced that it has joined forces with Dream Chip, Germany’s largest independent Engineering Service Provider, to deliver a digital chip for an Industry 4.0 manufacturing customer. Designed by Dream Chip ASIC Design group, the chip provides controller functionality and will replace the previous generation ASIC. Toshiba’s TLP7820 and TLP7920 photocouplers are designed for current sensing and voltage sensing in power converters. They achieve high accuracy through the inclusion of a delta sigma ADC.
