Congatec has released a versatile Pico-ITX SBC based on the Intel Atom E3800 processor series, with a footprint of 70x102mm. Real-time capability and support for multiple operating systems allow use in demanding industrial applications such as mechanical engineering or automation and control systems. The Intel Atom E3800 processors are also suitable for use in the extended industrial temperature range.

The newly launched PicoScope 3000D Series oscilloscopes offer up to 200 MHz bandwidth, 2 or 4 analogue channels plus 16 digital channels on the mixed-signal (MSO) models, and deep memories from 64 to 512 MS. Capable of debugging the latest digital and mixed signal designs, the scopes offer a maximum real-time sampling rate of 1GS/s and feature a USB3.0 interface and a built-in arbitrary waveform generator (AWG).

LASER COMPONENTS’ laser driver partner PicoLAS GmbH has developed a cost- and energy-efficient kilowatt laser diode driver, in a half-brick-size (35cm2). The LDP-CW 20-50 CW-driver can operate serially connected diode lasers with a continuous load featuring voltages of up to 48V and adjustable currents of up to 20A, providing approximately 1kW.

The eDM-pITX-BT, aPico-ITX SBC based on 22nm Intel Atom processors, has been introduced by DATA MODUL. Equipped with up to 4GB DDR3L RAM, the computer is available in two CPU variants: the Intel Atom E3815 or the Intel Celeron J1900. For reliable operation, both the RAM and CPU are located at the rear side of the PCB. To provide cooling, the device is available with a heat spreader or a heat sink.

Scope bursts through 100,000 waveforms per second barrier
The latest release of the PicoScope 6 software for PC oscilloscopes has a greatly improved continuous update rate of over 100,000 waveforms per second. Pico says this is faster than any other PC oscilloscope, and beats many expensive benchtop oscilloscopes too. The new fast persistence mode is available on all Pico oscilloscopes from the PicoScope 3000 Series upwards with the PicoScope R6.10.2 beta software or later.
