Test solution offers EVM measurements out to 70GHz
An accurate solution for characterising and debugging IEEE 802.11ad transmitter PHY for silicon and system designs trying to achieve multi-gigabit wireless connectivity has been released by Tektronix. The new test solution, based on the 70GHz DPO70000SX Series ATI Oscilloscope powered by SignalVu Option SV30, delivers what is claimed to be industry best residual error vector magnitude (EVM) measurements along with easy setup.
Digi-Key Wins Teledyne LeCroy accolade
Global electronic components distributor Digi-Key Electronics was presented with Teledyne LeCroy’s prestigious High Service Global Distributor of the Year award for 2015; marking the second time in three years the company has received the award. Digi-Key was awarded the honour due in large part to over 40% sales growth in 2015. Teledyne LeCroy credited Digi-Key’s large breadth of in stock product inventory available for immediate ship...
20GHz probes improve access to tight test locations
The P7700 series of TriModeprobes are for use with Tektronix performance oscilloscopes. Offering up to 20GHz bandwidth, the new probes ease the challenges designers face when debugging circuits found in the latest mobile and enterprise designs by minimizing probe loading, improving access to smaller, more-densely packed test locations and lowering overall cost of ownership.
Automated test solution meets NBASE-T specification
An automated compliance test solution for the NBASE-T specification and the emerging IEEE 802.3bz standard has been released by Tektronix. Based on the TekExpress framework for high-performance Tektronix oscilloscopes, the new application covers 2.5G, 5G and 10G data rates in a single solution making it easy to quickly test devices incorporating multiple speeds.
Oscilloscopes to the fore at Embedded World
The Embedded World exhibition in Nuremberg (Feb 23-25) will supply the platform for Rigol Technologies to present its complete product portfolio. Besides the Oscilloscope series MSO/DS2000A and MSO/DS4000 offering 50MHz up to 1GHz bandwidth, Rigol will show the new MSO-Ready Mixed Signal Oscilloscope series DS1000Z Plus with 70MHz and 100MHz bandwidth.
National Electronics Week 2016 is an 'engineer’s wonderland'
With more companies and brands already showcasing at National Electronics Week 2016 than ever before, this year is set to be the biggest gathering of electronic and manufacturing professionals in the UK. With the coming together of MACH, Drives & Controls and five other industry specific events all under one roof, it is an engineer’s wonderland.
High-speed digital analyser probes offer mixed signal solution
The HDA125 High-speed Digital Analyser launched by Teledyne LeCroy expands the capabilities of its oscilloscope range. The HDA125 digital acquisition system captures 18 channels of digital data at 12.5GS/s. It can be added to Teledyne LeCroy oscilloscopes by means of the LBUS interface architecture.
Conference to explore mixed signal instrumentation
Pico Technology will be giving a technical presentation at HW/Expo 2016, a UK conference for hardware engineers. Entitled 'Flexible Resolution Oscilloscopes Address Mixed Domain Application Challenges', the presentation will explore how a single instrument can now meet the demands of both analogue and digital engineers.
