Intelligent LED control demo to be showcased at embedded World 2014

Waters appointed President, CEO at IDT
Greg Waters has been named as the new President and Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Device Technology (IDT) has a new President and Chief Executive Officer. He takes up his new post on January 6 next year. Jeff McCreary, who has served as interim CEO since August 2013, will remain a member of the IDT board of directors.
SmartFusion2 and IGLOO2 FPGAs achieve PCIe 2.0 certification
Microsemi has today revealed that PCI Express 2.0 endpoint specification certification has been granted to its SmartFusion2 SoC FPGAs and IGLOO2 FPGAs. Newly included on the PCI SIG Integrators List,the newly certified devices have been tested and found to provide a reduction of up to ten times static power consumption compared to other comparable PLCs, making them the industry's lowest power PCIe 2.0 programmable logic solutions.
