A new pressure transmitter especially for aeronautical applications has been developed by Baumer’s product segment Process Instrumentation. Completely made of stainless steel, the compact device meets the high requirements for the use in aviation operations and can be deployed for the pressure measurement of most gases and liquids.

For applications in gaseous and dusty surroundings, Baumer offers its FlexLevel Switch 4401 in various ATEX versions. They enable a safe level detection in hazardous areas. The ATEX certifications cover the zones 0, 1 and 2 as well as the zones 20, 21 and 22. The FlexLevel Switch can be easily configured on PC via the FlexProgrammer 9701. With the PB series, Baumer is introducing a new pressure transmitter family based on a modular system which can be adjusted individually to customers’ needs. Remarkable is the high accuracy (of up to 0.1 % F.S.) over a large compensated temperature range of -40 °C up to +85 °C. The pressure range is between 100 mbar and 1600 bar. The FlexProgrammer 9701 enables the transmitter’s easy configuration.
