Portable AWG allows signal-generation for up to 16 channels
The latest line of Arbitrary Waveform Generators (AWGs) from Spectrum Instrumentation is based on the LXI instrumentation standard and has been created for engineers and scientists that need to simultaneously generate up to 16 precise electronic signals. Small and compact, the units are ideal in automated testing or remote-control type applications.
High-speed comparators offer fast propagation delay
Among the fastest low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) comparators on the market, the MAX40025 and MAX40026 single-supply, high-speed comparators from Maxim Integrated deliver fast propagation delay for distance sensing, time-of-flight (ToF), and high-speed test and measurement instruments. They are available at Mouser Electronics.
Multi-channel AWGs deliver 16-bit resolution
High Definition four- and eight- channel arbitrary waveform generators (AWGs) have been announced by Teledyne LeCroy. The Teledyne Test Tools (T3) branded instruments complement the company’s High Definition 16-bit oscilloscopes for stimulus-response test applications.
Mixed signal scope tackles high speed signal analysis
Following its launch in the spring of this year, Rigol Technologies’ MSO8000 series is now fully available. With bandwidths from 600MHz, 1GHz and 2GHz (BW usable for 2 channel) and a maximum sampling rate of 10GS/s, the MSO8000 series is ideally suited for high speed and instantaneous signal acquisition and analysis.
Oscilloscopes enhanced to adapt to new tasks
An MSO upgrade option with the 16-channel logic probe has been added to Rigol Technologies’ DS1000Z-Plus low-end oscilloscope series. It allows users to cost-effectively start the DS1000Z-Plus series of oscilloscopes with a low-cost model, and add digital channels to the oscilloscope when needed.
Automotive Ethernet testing simplified with new software
Tektronix has released two software packages that greatly simplify Automotive Ethernet testing, debug and Protocol Decode for use with its 5 and 6 Series mixed signal oscilloscopes (MSO). Using the new Signal Separation software, automotive engineers can now perform Automotive Ethernet testing without disrupting the ECU system or cutting the Ethernet cable to install a directional coupler.
Farnell, Tektronix run compeititon to mark oscilloscope launch
Tektronix is launching a new range of oscilloscopes on June 4 and, as part of the launch, Farnell and Tektronix are running a competition to win two prizes – both of which are exclusive to Farnell.
Oscilloscopes meet demanding debugging applications
Two oscilloscopes from Tektronix are in stock at RS Components. The recently launched 3 Series MDO (mixed-domain oscilloscope) and the 4 Series MSO (mixed-signal oscilloscope) have been developed to suit a wide range of demanding debugging and signal analysis applications at an affordable price.
Upgraded oscilloscopes can "transform" market
“So,” asked Tektronix of a cross section of engineers, “what do you want from a next generation, mid-market oscilloscope?” What they asked for Tektronix reckons it has delivered with the 3 Series Mixed Domain Oscilloscope (MDO) and 4 Series Mixed-signal oscilloscope (MSO).
