RF connectors offer performance in micro-miniature designs
Amphenol RF introduces its ultra-miniatureAmphenol Micro Miniature Coaxial (AMMC) PCB connector suitable for space-constrained RF applications with 50Ω impedance requirements. These connectors are fully compatible with the Hirose W.FL and IPEX MHF III series. The connectors are low profile, 1.4mm off the board, mated, with a small footprint of 2x2mm.
Preconfigured assemblies suit high frequency applications
Amphenol RF introduces fixed length SMP cable assemblies as the suitable preconfigured solution for high frequency applications with 50Ω impedance requirements. The cable assemblies offer high performance up to 26.5GHz and are highly reliable in test environments.
Ethernet connectors cope with harsh environments
Three series of Category 6 Ethernet connectors from Amphenol are now available in Europe through TTI. The Socapex RJ Field Cat 6 interconnects feature a fast data rate of 1Gb/s under 250MHz and are available in three different series. They are designed for Ethernet networks in harsh environments and provide shock and vibration protection, plus sealing against dust and fluid ingress to IP68.
Smart card connector is self cleaning
A small smart card connector with self-cleaning wiping contacts that ensures a reliable data connection on every insertion, has been introduced by Industrial@Amphenol. The compact and robust Card|Mate connector can withstand up to 500,000 mating cycles and measures just 57x30.5x5mm, providing the smallest form factor, according to the company.
Compact circular connector series is explosion-proof
A miniature version of the company’s Amphe-Mine EX connector series, Amphenol has introduced an explosion-proof, heavy duty hazardous rated connector series. Offering outstanding performance in automated process control and instrumentation systems, the Amphe-Coal EX is suited for use in classified facilities such as underground mining sites where machinery requires more power and signal in a smaller interface.
Transmission, distribution & insulation protection
Amphenol has introduced a new line of heat shrink tubing for the electronics, energy, rail mass transit, heavy equipment, EVs/HEVs, telecommunications, mining and oil and gas markets. The Amphe-HST (Heat Shrink Tubing) is widely used in low-voltage applications and medium-voltage transmission and distribution as well as insulation protection.
Connector's lock feature saves assembly time
Now available in Europe through TTI are Amphenol’s compact and robust RADLOK connectors. RADLOK’s one finger operated lock feature allows users to connect any power distribution/storage system in a quick and secure manner. The tool-free mechanical locking has passed vibration testing and saves valuable assembly and maintenance time.
Solar power applications beckon PV connectors
Mouser Electronics is now shipping theH4 UTX Photovoltaic (PV) Connectors from Amphenol Industrial. These connectors are IP68 rated and are specifically designed to meet requirements for solar power and energy harvesting applications, boasting a very high 65A rating. The connectors provide highly efficient power transfer with extremely low loss by the use of precision machined contacts utilising Amphenol Industrial’s exclusive RADSOK Techno...
