Analyser capabilities extended to LTE-A measurements
Field engineers and technicians can now conduct highly accurate and efficient LTE-Advanced Carrier Aggregation (CA) measurements during network deployment and maintenance on Anritsu’s BTS Master MT8220T base station analyser. The new capability enables key LTE-Advanced CA measurements for all active component carriers (CCs) and displays them simultaneously on the same screen, allowing users to quickly and accurately verify LTE-Advanced CA f...
GCF gives approval to conformance test cases
The GCF, the certification body for the mobile phone industry, has validated Anritsu’s LTE eMBMS Band 4 and Band 13 RF conformance test cases. Anritsu is the world’s first test equipment supplier to gain validation for these Band4 and Band 13 RF conformance test cases. The enhanced Multimedia Broadcasting Multicast Services (eMBMS) technology is a multicast service for LTE mobile networks which provides for high capacity data distribu...
VNA price performance earns Frost & Sullivan award
Anritsu’s ShockLine family has been it has won the Frost & Sullivan 2014 Price-to-Performance Leadership award in the Vector Network Analyser (VNA) market. Frost & Sullivan noted that the ShockLine family addresses the need for economical VNAs with the necessary performance to accurately test passive devices.
Field transport tester keeps pace with 100Gb/s data rates
Producing equipment to test communications networks has to move forward at a breathless pace to keep up with the technology and its test requirements. Anritsu’s latest solution is the MT1100A Network Master Flex, a portable transport tester for optical networks which can measure client signals at data rates up to 100Gb/s and which is suitable for testing the next generation of 400Gb/s network equipment.
Network field tester added to rental range
Livingston has added Anritsu’s all-in-one optical network field tester to its portfolio of rental products. The recently released MT1000A Network Master Pro is a compact, portable device that is optimised for carrying out comprehensive field testing on optical transport network (OTN) infrastructure. It can deal with the multiple communications protocols now being incorporated into modern telecommunications technology.
Livingston Presents Ground-Breaking New Universal OTN Test Solution
Livingston has further underlined its commitment to continued innovation by adding Anritsu’s all-in-one optical network field tester to its expansive portfolio of rental products. The recently released MT1000A Network Master Pro is a compact, highly portable device that is optimised for carrying out comprehensive field testing on optical transport network (OTN) infrastructure. It can deal with the multiple communications protocols now being...
System takes accurate aim at mobile interference
Field engineers and technicians are frequently called upon to identify sources of interference and these can be difficult to pinpoint accurately. Anritsu claims to have made the task easier by introducing mobile interference hunting system that will locate sources of interference more accurately, efficiently, and economically.
Cambridge Wireless announces speaker line-up for Technology Conference 2015
A strong line-up of speakers has been announced for the first Cambridge Wireless Technology Engineering Conference (CW TEC) in London on the 24th March 2015.
Vector network analysers cover up to 40GHz
“It does what it says on the tin”. That’s how Jonathan Borrill, Anritsu’s Director of Market, EMEA described the company’s new ShockLine family of Vector Network Analysers (VNAs). “We took a step back and decided less is more,” says Borrill. The result is a family of mid-range VNAs at a much lower cost that will handle the basic RF test requirements of an engineer.
Field analyser integrates PIM and line sweep testing
Anritsu says it is breaking new ground in field wireless test with the introduction of the MW82119B PIM Master, which combines a 40W, battery-operated PIM analyser with a 2 MHz to 3 GHz cable and antenna analyser, eliminating the need to carry multiple instruments to measure the RF performance of a cell site.
