High endurance capacitors suited to low ESR applications
High endurance aluminium electrolytic capacitors of the Panasonic’s new V-FT series are available at Rutronik. They come with high capacitance and extremely low ESR values. The aluminium electrolytic capacitors benefit from a long life time of up to 5,000 hours (2.5 times more than former FT series devices) at temperatures of up to +105°C.
SSD error correction code protects data
The HK4 series 6.0Gbit/s SATA SSD series is Toshiba’s first solid state drive SSD for enterprise and data centre applications to embed 15nm MLC NAND flash memory. The SSDs which are available at Rutronik offer low latency tuned for high quality of service (QoS) and are designed for read-intensive and value-endurance workloads.
Smallest automotive-grade LDO regulators from Rohm
ROHM presents two LDO regulator families: the BUxxJA2MNVX-C series is the world’s smallest automotive-grade LDO regulator whereas the BD7xxLx series provides unmatched 6µA quiescent current features. Both series are available at distributor Rutronik as of now.The BD7xxLx series is optimised for all applications that are connected to the battery and require an extreme low quiescent current.
Single board computer makes fanless design possible
The MIO-5272 SBC (Single Board Computer) from Advantech has been added to the Rutronik portfolio. It comes in a 3.5in MI/O Extension (146x102) form factor and is based on Intel 6th generation Core i7/i5/i3/Celeron processors with triple independent display capability. The optimised thermal solution for the MIO-5272 makes fanless design possible on this compact, high performance platform under wide temperature environment (-40°C up to +85°...

Rutronik and BM launch worldwide franchise
Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH and BM have signed a worldwide franchise agreement. The distributor is now able to deliver the entire portfolio of the Chinese film capacitor manufacturer. The first stage of the deal will see the partners concentrating on two film capacitor lines in Europe. The focus will initially be on X2 and moisture resistant X2 capacitors as well as on DC link capacitors.
Moving closer to autonomous driving
Staying in lane, parking, driving in traffic jams - the latest ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) can already do it all. However, there are few challenges to overcome before autonomous driving becomes a reality. Tamara Drexler, Assistant & Product Manager Automotive Business Unit at RUTRONIK explains.
12V/20V MOSFETs in dual asymmetric package
What are claimed to be the industry’s first AEC-Q101-qualified 12V and 20V MOSFETs in a dual asymmetric package from Vishay are now available at Rutronik. The Vishay Siliconix SQJ202EP and SQJ200EP n-channel TrenchFET® devices are optimised for high-side and low-side synchronous buck applications.
Diodes offer voltage transient protection
The new TPSMF4L series of Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) Diodes from Littelfuse are now available at distributor Rutronik. They are specifically designed to protect sensitive automotive electronic equipment and portable devices from voltage transients induced by load dump and other transient voltage events.
