The new ACS716 from Allegro MicroSystems Europe is an open-loop Hall-effect current-sensor IC that provides an accuracy and bandwidth performance that is near to that of closed-loop devices. The new device, which features a bandwidth of 120 kHz and is optimised for 3.3 V supply operation, is designed to provide an economical and precise solution to current-sensing applications in industrial, commercial and communications systems.
User-programmable linear Hall-effect sensor IC
The new A1356 from Allegro MicroSystems Europe is a user-programmable linear Hall-effect sensor IC with a pulse width modulated (PWM) output. Featuring built-in filtering to provide low jitter and high sensing accuracy, the new product complements Allegro's existing line of linear devices with PWM outputs by offering a device with a significantly higher carrier frequency of 2 kHz, allowing it to resolve rapid changes in magnetic field.

The ACS756 is a next-generation open-loop current sensor with a 125 kHz bandwidth capability, and takes advantage of Allegro's low-loss leadframe technology and the fast response capability of the monolithic Hall-effect sensor IC.
