Power supplies extend 7-year warranty RWS-B series
TDK has announced the introduction of the RWS1000B and RWS1500B series of AC/DC power supplies, extending TDK-Lambda’s popular 7-year warranty 50 to 600W RWS-B range. Rated at 1000W and 1500W output power, the units are available with 12V, 15V, 24V, 36V and 48V outputs. Both series feature screw terminal blocks with covers, in place of widely used busbars, allowing easy connection of the output cables.
Harsh environment DC/DC converters offer up to 92% efficiency
Additional models have been introduced to TDK's HQA series of harsh environment DC/DC converters. The series now includes both 85 and 120W ratings with output voltages of 5, 12, 15, 24, 28 and 48V. The input voltage is 9-40V for the 5-28V units and 18-40V for the 48V unit. All models can withstand a 50V surge for 1s. With efficiencies of up to 92%, the HQA series is suited for use in COTS, communications and industrial equipment.
Programmable DC power supply series delivers 5kW output
The introduction of the TDK-Lambda Genesys+ series of high power density programmable DC power supplies, has been announced. The 5kW, 1U model is the first in the series, utilising Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology, these next-gen units provide improved efficiency, performance and functionality over existing products on the market at a competitive cost.
AC/DC power supplies features low acoustic noise
The introduction of 700-1,200W models to the QM series of modular AC/DC power supplies has been announced by TDK. The series features low acoustic noise and BF ready isolation. With both medical and industrial safety certifications, the series is suitable for a wide range of applications, including BF rated medical equipment, test and measurement, broadcast, communications and renewable energy applications.
100A digitally controlled PoL converter is PMBus compliant
The new iJC series of 100A Point of Load (POL) non-isolated DC/DC converters has been announced by TDK Corporation with PMBus communication. These converters utilise adaptive digital control to deliver improved transient response and system stability across a wide range of output capacitance.
Mouser bolsters global MEMS portfolio
A global distribution agreement has been signed by Mouser Electronics and InvenSense, a TDK Group company and a provider of microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) sensor platforms. “This global agreement with InvenSense continues our commitment to providing the latest in MEMS sensors,” said Kristin Schuetter, Vice President, Supplier Management, Mouser Electronics.
LAN modules suitable for rack mount power supplies
TDK Corporation has announced the introduction of two LAN modules for the TDK-Lambda HFE1600 and HFE2500 series of rack mount, hot-swap power supplies. The LAN (Local Area Network) option allows the user to program and monitor the status of the power supplies remotely. This enhancement is ideal for use in general industrial, communications, and test and measurement equipment.
